The Expressive Creatrix (and Hobbyist)

This was a wonderful book.  It started off kind of slow for me, but I ended up really getting into it.  It’s interesting in that it’s told from the point of view of a 16-year-old girl, who is dead and a ghost for most of the book.  Lots of themes here – love, longing, freedom of expression and choice, the desire to be heard.  It was beautifully written and very poignant.  It’s not the “usual” book, and some may find it different, but I thought it was a gorgeous read.
