The Expressive Creatrix (and Hobbyist)

I finished this on last week.  I was referred to this book by one of my favorite authors, Bernard Cornwell, at his website.  Scott read it before I did, and he really enjoyed it.  (He’s currently reading the sequel, which he says isn’t quite as good.)  Actually, I was “eh” on it.  It was a good book with an intriguing storyline (Anne Boleyn’s executioner makes a vow to her before her death and the book follows his journey and experiences in keeping the vow), I just couldn’t get into it for some reason, and it took me awhile to get through it.  I guess it was just a case of reading the wrong book at the wrong time.  Under other circumstances, I maybe would’ve loved it.
